Health Commitment Statement - Conditions of Attendance

Your health is your responsibility. I am dedicated to helping you take every opportunity to enjoy the sessions that I offer. With this in mind, I have carefully considered what we can reasonably expect of each other.

My commitment to you

  1. I will respect your personal decisions, and allow you to make your own decisions about which exercise you can carry out carefully providing scaled exercise options where necessary. However, I ask you not to exercise beyond what you consider to be your own abilities. The nature of our remote sessions determines that this responsibility is greatly weighted towards yourself.


Your commitment to me

  1. You should not exercise beyond your own abilities. If you know or are concerned that you have a medical condition which might interfere with you exercising safely, before you attend my sessions you should get advice from a relevant medical professional and follow that advice.

  2. Exercise carries its own risks. You should not carry out any activities that you have been told are not suitable for you.

  3. You should let me know immediately if you feel ill when attending my sessions. If you feel extensive pain, I will refer to a professional in that field.

  4. If you have a limitation, you must follow any reasonable instructions to allow you to exercise safely.

  5. Please advise me before your first class, of any health conditions that you think I should know about, including disc issues, back and neck pain, heart and lung conditions and diabetes.
